Practical Session 2 Update – Bahrain

We appreciate how much the cancellation of our exams has affected learners and we’re working hard on solutions to ensure they can gain their qualifications at the earliest opportunity. However, on the basis of official and local advice we will be postponing the entry period for Session 2 Practical exams and we will provide an update about the exams scheduled for November - December as soon as we can.

We will provide updates about future exams sessions as soon as we can and our Representative will provide further guidance in due course. We are very sorry for the impact on teachers and candidates and thank you for your loyalty and support at this difficult time.

Music Theory exam update – session 3

On the basis of government advice, we are cancelling the Music Theory exams due to take place later in 2020. We are sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your ongoing loyalty and support.

An effective practitioner is a reflective practitioner

The Becoming a Better Music Teacher course provides ideas on how to improve your teaching strategies and skills. On this course, you will learn to assess your current teaching and look at new ways to engage your students during their lesson. How do we plan a lesson? What do we need to consider, other than the practical implications of the room, the online learning technical requirements, the number of students and access to resources? We asked teachers for their tips on lesson planning. Do you have more that you would add to this list? Email us at [email protected] and let us know
